Although Ethan did not come from a professional culinary background, he had a strong understanding of guest experience and wanted the new café to feel intentional, calm, and elevated. As a first-time café owner launching a rebranded concept, he needed a website that would immediately communicate the new direction and atmosphere of the business.
Since the branding direction was already established, the website needed to visually align with the café’s minimalist aesthetic while elevating it through thoughtful layout design, typography, imagery, and user experience.

Another key challenge was ensuring the website effectively communicated the café’s rebranded direction. As Hearth & Grind Café transitioned from an existing coffee shop into a more refined and intentional concept, the website needed to help establish a stronger visual identity and create a memorable first impression for both new and returning customers.

The website transformed Hearth & Grind Café’s existing branding into a refined and cohesive digital experience that reflected the café’s minimalist philosophy.
Using monochrome visuals, spacious layouts, and editorial-inspired design, the site was crafted to feel calm, modern, and immersive while remaining easy to navigate.
Through The Edible Aesthetic’s “Website in a Week” process, the project delivered a polished online presence that strengthened the café’s rebrand, elevated its visual identity, and created a memorable first impression within a short timeline.
